The course includes practical training in two chosen languages (plus Italian), besides the reflection on theoretical and applied linguistics. At the same time, literatures and texts are studied across time in synchronic and diachronic perspectives and space, embracing the European languages and literatures in their global dimension. The study of at least two foreign languages and literatures, freely combined, is accompanied by a number of common core disciplines intended to endow students with a solid humanistic, philological, metalinguistic and literary background. A wide range of optional modules (to be acquired as free ECTS in compliance with the course manual) offers students the possibility to personalise their curriculum thus leading to a versatile and multicultural body of competence.
