The Cognitive Sciences and Decisional Processes degree program will have restricted admission pursuant to Law no. 264/1999. The number of available places is determined annually by the relevant academic bodies, following an evaluation of the structural, instrumental, and staffing resources required to support the program.

Admission to the program is contingent upon passing an entrance examination designed to assess basic competencies and personal preparation. The entrance test will consist of a written examination with multiple-choice questions aimed at evaluating logical reasoning skills, reading comprehension (in Italian), logic, basic biology, basic statistics, and general psychology.

Graduates holding a degree in the following classes or those with an equivalent qualification obtained abroad and recognized as valid are eligible to sit for the entrance test: L-2 Biotechnology L-5 Philosophy L-20 Communication Sciences L-24 Psychological Sciences and Techniques L-SNT/1 Health Professions in Nursing and Midwifery L-SNT/2 Health Professions in Rehabilitation L-SNT/3 Technical Health Professions L-SNT/4 Health Professions in Prevention
Students nearing graduation in the above-mentioned degree classes may also apply, provided they graduate by December 31, 2025. Graduates from other degree classes, as well as holders of a foreign qualification recognized as valid, may also apply, provided they have earned at least 30 ECTS credits in one or more of the following groups of academic disciplines (SSD):
