General objective:

To train professionals with a solid theoretical and practical base of the concepts, laws, models, techniques and methods of medical physics . This in order to respond to the current and future demand of the health sector, both public and private, in the area of ​​applications of physics in medicine.

Specific objectives:

  • Train professionals capable of assisting in the application and evaluation of diagnostic methods and therapy with ionized radiation, guaranteeing the radiological safety of patients, users, workers and the general public, as well as guaranteeing the quality and management of the equipment.

Admission Requirements

The general requirements to enter a degree program at the University of Sonora are as follows:
