The University of Sonora's Bachelor of Nursing study plan aims to train health professionals with a complete profile, competent in the field of their profession, oriented to lifelong learning with human quality and socially responsible, with the purpose of that provides comprehensive human care to the individual, family and community.
Specific objectives:
Promote the development of logical, critical and creative thinking with axiological and philosophical principles based on an epistemological framework, models and theories of the nursing discipline, using the nursing process as the main methodology.
Provide the student in training with educational experiences that allow the development of theoretical, heuristic and axiological knowledge that support the know-how of the nursing profession, responding to social demands in health matters through their insertion in the multidisciplinary team and/or the free exercise of the profession.
Contribute to the strengthening of values and attitudes that allow students to live in community and society through respect for the culture of groups, pro-activism, empathy, equity and social justice; fostering awareness of health-disease processes and professional care of individuals, family and community under the framework of the demographic and epidemiological profile of the country.
Promote the formation of attitudes in the areas of growth and personal self-affirmation, ethical training and those related to the person and the environment.

Admission Requirements
The general requirements to enter a bachelor's program at the University of Sonora are as follows:
Request registration with the School Services Directorate in accordance with the terms of the respective call.
Deliver full certificate of upper secondary education studies.
Deliver certified birth certificate.
Present the entrance exam and be accepted according to the terms of the respective call.
The others that are established in accordance with article 22 of the current School Regulations.
