General objective:
Train professionals with the capacity to solve problems of habitability in human settlements , considering, from a sustainable perspective, the relevant environmental, geographic and sociocultural variables in the design process, efficiently using the production and communication tools that build a platform of knowledge that allow them to compete globally with an attitude of constant learning for their professional performance.
Specific objectives:
- Promote the development of logical, critical and creative thinking with an attitude of lifelong learning, ability to interpret and analyze problems, oral, written and graphic communication skills, which allows the student in training to generate and acquire new knowledge related to design architecture, construction, urban planning, the history of architecture and the theory of architecture, as well as the knowledge of the profession so that it assumes the solution of problems with innovative, entrepreneurial, ethical and competitive attitudes.
- Promote the formation of honest, responsible, supportive, respectful, empathetic and tolerant attitudes, with availability and integrity, which denote the internationalization of values that facilitate personal growth in its emotional, humanistic and physical dimensions.
- Contribute to the strengthening of the values and attitudes that allow the student to interact, live with others and work collaboratively in a creative, competitive, entrepreneurial, ethical, proactive and civic way, fostering a leadership attitude that responds to social and professional expectations.
- Provide the student in training with the educational experiences that allow the development of the knowledge, skills and attitudes that support the know-how of Architecture and that will be required for their insertion in favorable conditions of professional performance in the fields of design, construction, administration of the project and the work, and urban planning with a sustainable approach.

Admission Requirements
The general requirements to enter a bachelor's program at the University of Sonora are as follows:
- Request registration with the School Services Directorate in accordance with the terms of the respective call.
- Deliver full certificate of upper secondary education studies.
- Deliver certified birth certificate.
- Present the entrance exam and be accepted according to the terms of the respective call.
- The others that are established in accordance with article 22 of the current School Regulations.
