General objective:

Train jurists capable of analyzing and understanding the national legal system and its relationship with other contemporary legal systems.

Specific objectives:

  • Train professionals with a comprehensive vision of the study and practice of Law, with the ability to intervene critically, proactively, responsibly and ethically in solving legal problems.
  • Prepare the social base that in the future will constitute the group of experts in the knowledge, development and application of judicial procedures and/or solution of alternatives to conflicts.

Admission Requirements

The general requirements to enter a degree program at the University of Sonora are as follows:

  • Request registration with the Directorate of School Services in accordance with the terms of the respective call.
  • Submit a full certificate of high school studies.
  • Submit a certified birth certificate.
  • Submit entrance exam and be accepted according to the terms of the respective call.
  • The others that are established in accordance with article 22 of the current School Regulations.
