General objective:
To train competent professionals in the identification, analysis, understanding and interpretation of literary texts in the Spanish language , which enables them to exercise criticism, teaching and dissemination of the literary fact and the Spanish language and contributes to their humanistic formation committed to the environment Social.
Specific objectives:
Facilitate the appropriation of theoretical, heuristic and axiological knowledge on which the know-how of the Bachelor of Hispanic Literatures is based: the training of competent readers and writers of literary and non-literary texts, language and literature teachers, researchers and literary critics , and professionals capable of developing both in the publishing field and in the promotion of literature and culture.
Promote the development of logical, critical and creative thinking with an attitude of lifelong learning, from a comprehensive perspective that allows the student to generate and acquire knowledge related to literary, linguistic, historiographical and hermeneutical analysis to solve problems related to the phenomenon literary with a critical and ethical attitude towards the aesthetic fact.

Admission Requirements
The general requirements to enter a degree program at the University of Sonora are as follows:
- Request registration with the Directorate of School Services in accordance with the terms of the respective call.
- Submit a full certificate of high school studies.
- Submit a certified birth certificate.
- Submit entrance exam and be accepted according to the terms of the respective call.
- The others that are established in accordance with article 22 of the current School Regulations.
