General objective:
Train human resources trained in research, teaching and public service, in the field of economic integration processes, with emphasis on macroeconomic dynamics, cross-border regions and productive restructuring of local territorial and productive systems, generating basic knowledge and applied, capable of being applied in the design and proposals of public policies to strengthen local, regional, national and international projects.
Specific objectives:
- Train in knowledge of a theoretical and instrumental nature for the analysis of the problems of economic integration, in its various modalities.
- Enable the knowledge of research methodologies and techniques to develop theoretical and/or applied research projects in the universe of economic integration.
- Promote an academic environment for reflection and critical analysis of the theoretical and technical schemes that are part of the current paradigms of economic integration.
- Train researchers - teachers who contribute to the training of specialists in the field of knowledge of economic integration and its various modalities.
- Train human resources at a professional level to insert themselves in labor markets linked to economic integration.
