General objective:
Train competent general practitioners for the preservation and/or restitution of health, individual, family and community, with quality, ethics and humanism, trained for comprehensive medical care, including promotion and promotion of health, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of diseases, as well as in research, doctors with analytical and creative thinking, and with the ability to communicate it.
Specific objectives:
The graduate of the Medicine program of the University of Sonora will be a professional:

Admission Requirements
The general requirements to enter a degree program at the University of Sonora are as follows:
- Request registration with the Directorate of School Services in accordance with the terms of the respective call.
- Submit a full certificate of high school studies.
- Submit a certified birth certificate.
- Submit entrance exam and be accepted according to the terms of the respective call.
- The others that are established in accordance with article 22 of the current School Regulations.
