The Academic Program of Electrical Engineering is aimed at all those people interested in training in electricity and its applications in modern society. The applicant must have aptitudes towards mathematics and the application of physics in real situations, where creativity is required for the formulation of models that represent the elements that make up an electrical system and skills to apply mathematical techniques to obtain their solution. It is also important that the applicant has the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, good oral and written communication, and respect for nature.
It is evident that society depends to a large extent on electricity and the use made of it requires personnel with high training that allows them to get involved in the stages of planting, design and operation of electrical systems, without forgetting the impact that these projects have on society.
