General objective:
Train professionals with a comprehensive vision of nutrition , particularly in the relationship between Nutrition and Public Health. Therefore, their training integrates knowledge of biochemical, food and social sciences that allows them to develop a multidisciplinary approach in addressing the needs of the population, both individually and at the community level.
Specific objectives:
- Promote the interest and training of professionals with knowledge in biochemical sciences and in psychology, anthropology, communication and economics that allow them to collaborate in multidisciplinary projects and in the performance of academic and professional work in Nutritional Sciences, which are carried out privately, institutionally, publicly or privately.
- Promote self-learning, teamwork, with multidisciplinary integration and the conviction of using natural resources, preserving the environment in students.
- Respond to the state and regional social demand, to train Nutrition professionals committed to their profession, willing to collaborate in solving problems related to their training, always guided by professional ethics for the benefit of society.
- Train professionals with a high analytical, critical and self-critical sense that allows them to plan, design and direct quality systems for continuous improvement in their professional performance, always seeking to improve the quality of life of the community.
- Encourage the exercise of promotion, dissemination, linkage and social service of the Bachelor of Nutrition.

Admission Requirements
The general requirements to enter a degree program at the University of Sonora are as follows:
- Request registration with the Directorate of School Services in accordance with the terms of the respective call.
- Submit a full certificate of higher secondary education studies.
- Submit a certified birth certificate.
- Submit entrance exam and be accepted according to the terms of the respective call.
