Students study modeling and design of vehicle traffic, management of technical and commercial operation of transport systems, inventory, supply and warehousing. The subjects to study include algebra and the beginning of mathematical analysis, transport infrastructure, freight transportation, intelligent transportation systems, and transport logistics.
Students study the organization of transportation of passengers, cargo, cargo baggage and luggage, design of transport and technological schemes of cargo delivery based on logistics’ principles, ensuring the safety of transportation process, improving the ground transport and its management systems.
Graduates are engaged in planning the movement of transport resources, as well as monitoring their work, determine the route, minimize the costs, optimize transport processes to reduce the period of finding the goods at intermediate storage bases, and passengers at stations, and enters into contracts with transport companies as well.
Graduates work at transport enterprises engaged in transportation of passengers, cargo and luggage, in logistics services of industrial and trade organizations, freight forwarding enterprises and organizations.
