Innovative degree program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the field of technical regulation and quality assessment of transport infrastructure facilities.
The basic training consists of the disciplines of natural sciences and engineering: mathematics, physics, structural mechanics, building structures, geodesy, materials science, engineering graphics, etc.
Specialized training is based on forming the professional competencies in the field of construction and repair of land transport infrastructure facilities. Students learn to assess the transport infrastructure and its condition. For this purpose, "Transport infrastructure", "Technical regulation and conformity assessment in transport", "Quality management of railway infrastructure facilities", "Information technologies and artificial intelligence in transport", "Railway transport facilities", "Fundamentals of reliability and technical diagnostics in transport construction", etc. are studied.
Specialists in the field of quality management and conformity assessment play a key role in elaboration, implementation and maintenance of enterprise quality management systems that help minimize the risks associated with the production and operation of transport infrastructure, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. They also participate in internal and external audits, product and process certification, which contributes to protecting the consumer health and safety
Graduates work in industrial enterprises related to the operation, maintenance and repair of transport infrastructure facilities, in government agencies related to the operation, maintenance and repair of transport infrastructure facilities, in conformity assessment bodies; in scientific organizations for research and testing of transport infrastructure facilities.
