Training of specialists in the field of digitalization, operation and management of modern energy facilities. This is an innovative program created at the junction of energy and IT-sphere. Upon completion of the program, the graduate is awarded "Bachelor of engineering and technology in  digital energy sphere" academic degree.

Students study modern electric power engineering, digital production management and programming. you will master intelligent control systems of electrical networks, automation tools for control processes in the electric power industry, software tools for control systems, programming logic controllers using Unity Pro, SCADA in the power supply system, computerized protection and safety of electrical systems, digital control systems for electric drives, as well as energy-saving and resource-saving technologies in the energy sector.

You will gain the skills of operation and diagnostics of electrical equipment, calculation and design of energy systems, the use of application programs for calculations, modeling and automation of design of energy systems, learn how to apply methods of calculation of energy supply, perform calculations on electricity consumption of electric power plants, considering the electricity consumption, calculate energy losses in various electrical equipment.

Students undergo practical training at such enterprises as KEGOC, AZHC, AlES, Elcos, Kazatomprom, Kazzinc, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating, Kazminerals, Kazakhmys and others.

Graduates work as engineers at power plants and substations, industrial production enterprises in the energy, construction, transport, metallurgical, chemical, mining and processing, oil and gas industries.
