Training of personnel in the field of the science related to underground waters and their interaction with rocks, surface waters and the atmosphere. Graduates receive an academic degree "Bachelor of Natural Sciences" at the 4-year-study.
Students receive training in hydrogeology and engineering geology as well as study the issues of assessing the resources and quality of groundwater for providing drinkable and technical water supply to cities, villages and industrial mining enterprises.
You will study hydrogeology, the laws of underground waters movement and formation of their chemical composition, methods of field and laboratory hydrogeological research, search and exploration of underground water reserves, methods for assessing their volumes, industrial significance, methods for solving technological problems for providing drinkable and industrial water, engineering-geological and hydrogeological observes and surveys, soil studies, principles of developing forecasts.
The program includes the opportunity to participate in research projects, as well as exchange programs with foreign universities.
Bachelors will undergo practical training in hydrogeological, geological exploration and engineering-geological, mining companies throughout the territory of Kazakhstan.
