Training of scientific-research personnel in the field of land transport and transport equipment capable of managing complex production and scientific processes and generating innovative ideas for the use in transport complex and railway transport field.
Doctoral students study modern methods of scientific research, due to which they solve theoretical, experimental and applied problems of synthesizing the new knowledge and technologies in transport equipment and technologies sphere.
Doctoral students from the first day of training begin to work with advanced research and develop projects, solving current problems in the field of design, production, operation and repair of transport equipment. Thus, in practice they learn to make decisions in the field of management of production processes of operation and repair of transport equipment based on their economic efficiency and principles of resource-energy conservation.
Doctoral students undergo practical training and internships in CIS leading universities, including Moscow State University of Railways, Novosibirsk and Omsk Universities of Railways, as well as in large companies in Kazakhstan - "Kamkor-Vagon", "Kamkor-Locomotive", "Design and Experimental Center", "KTZH" company’s various divisions.
Graduates of the doctoral program work as scientific workers, researchers, managers of various sections of factories, manufacturing enterprises for production, repair and operation of transport and transport equipment.
