Master’s students study research, analysis of prospects and integrated use of renewable energy sources, energy storage technologies, decentralized energy systems, modern methods of assessing the state of insulation of electrical equipment, autonomous power sources and renewable energy facilities.

You will learn how to carry out diagnostics and preventive tests of electrical equipment owing to renewable energy sources, simulate power systems in Power Factoring environment, work in modern application programs applied to digitalize energy systems, and design devices for storing electrical and thermal energy.

Students undergo internships at such enterprises as KEGOC, Alatau Zharyk Company, Almaty Power Stations, Burnoye Solar, Korday WPP, Green Energy, Kazatomprom, Kazzinc LLP, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating, Kazminerals, Kazakhmys and others.

Renewable energy sources are one of the promising areas of energy. Integration of clean energy technologies related to green energy, reduction of negative impact on the environment are key areas of global energy development. Specialists in the given field are in demand in modern industry.
