Training specialists in the field of transport and logistics management involves the use of advanced information systems and technologies, including cloud computing, blockchain, artificial intelligence, RFID, the Internet of Things, data analytics, and more. The novelty of this profession lies in the ability to solve traditional logistics tasks using modern digital technologies.

Students study the theory of managing various material, informational, service, and other resources in economic systems, organizational forms, and management methods, as well as methods for optimizing the movement of resources from their point of origin to the place of consumption.

Students learn to develop supply chains and logistics processes based on modern information technologies, promptly coordinate supply routes, manage logistics processes using various digital tools, analyze supply chain conditions, and develop proposals for their improvement.

As part of the "Digital Logistics" educational program, students have the opportunity to participate in a dual-degree program at the Xi'an Railway Institute (Xi'an, China). Upon completion of their studies, students receive two diplomas, enhancing their professional competencies and competitiveness in the international labor market.

The faculty also includes practitioner instructors with extensive professional experience in logistics, ensuring the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the educational process. To strengthen students’ practical training, annual field trips and excursions to leading logistics companies are organized, allowing them to familiarize themselves with modern business processes and establish professional connections.

To assist graduates with employment, the university hosts an annual "Career Fair" featuring leading transport and logistics companies. This event provides students with the opportunity for direct interaction with potential employers and facilitates successful job placement upon graduation.

The acquired skills include proficiency in database development tools and various applications, economic and mathematical modeling, systems analysis, decision-making methods, strategic planning, and digital supply chain modeling and analysis.

Graduates work in transportation, logistics, and major manufacturing companies, engaging not only in operational activities but also in strategic tasks for improving business processes within supply chains and reorganizing logistics within companies.
