According to the world's leading experts, information systems are the most important and in demand area of developing information technologies. This is due to the rapid development of large, distributed computing systems, which cover more and more areas of human activity.

This is an innovative educational program, which offers training of specialists in the field of modern methods of complex development of information systems for various purposes. Training qualified specialists with project, research, analytical and teaching skills.

Graduates will receive an academic master’s degree in engineering and technology after 1.5 years of study or a master’s degree in technical sciences after 2 years of study.

The program is focused on training professionals working in the field of innovative development and modernizing promising clusters of IT-technologies.

The program was developed in the light of current trends in IT development and master's educational programs of leading universities worldwide.

This is the only IS program in Kazakhstan that offers system knowledge and skills in the field of training specialists in design and development of information systems for various purposes.

Graduates of the program will gain system knowledge in the field of algorithms and programming, business process modeling, data analysis, and integrated development of information systems. Graduates of the program will know the methods of system analysis, evaluation of the effectiveness of the development, implementation and operation of information systems.

The program uses experience of leading foreign universities and educational centers; renowned professors from leading universities of the world are invited to deliver lectures and trainings.

Graduates of the program will work as IT specialists in various fields: software engineers, system administrators, developers and database administrators, university and training center teachers, system programmers and analysts in various fields of economics, including production, science and education.

In the process of learning students will be actively involved in research and experimental research, implement innovative projects. Students will be required to complete professional, research and scientific-and-pedagogical internships at leading universities overseas, and the best of them can take a semester abroad within academic mobility programs.

One of the features of this program is in-depth study of economic and mathematical disciplines, modern aspects of IT and studying in English. Students within the program are expected to actively implement experimental research and innovative projects in the area of information systems.
