Training of scientific personnel in the field of chemical technology of inorganic substances. In case of successful development of the educational program of Ph.D. Doctoral studies and doctoral thesis defense the graduates are awarded the scientific degree «Philosophy Doctor» (Ph.D.), regardless of the period of study.
The educational program of Ph.D. Doctoral studies assumes profound studying of English, disciplines of specialization which provide a high professional standard of experts, profound preparation by the subject of dissertation research, cross-disciplinary preparation, the formation of teaching skills in high school.
Doctoral students study the physical and chemical methods of analysis of inorganic substances and materials, "green" chemistry, in the production of chemicals, modern chemical engineering, new types of catalysts and adsorbents, inorganic nanostructured materials, the scientific basis of waste-free technologies of processing industries.
The program also consists of teaching students as an obligatory component and conducting research work. For the development of the educational component of the doctoral studies program and/or carrying out of research conducts, the doctoral student should spend training in foreign institutions of education and science for a period of at least six months for the entire period of study.
The Diploma Supplement is accompanied by the ECTS Application developed according to the standards of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO / CEPES, which confirms the education received for European universities and makes it possible to confirm national higher education for foreign employers.
Objects of the professional activity of Ph.D. graduates are the most advanced positions in higher and specialized secondary educational institutions of the state and the private sector, scientific-research institutes, scientific-industrial centers of inorganic substances and materials, domestic and foreign chemical enterprises.
