Graduates receive Academic Master’s degree in engineering and technology for 1.5 years of study or Master of technical sciences for 2 years.
Undergraduates study geographic information systems in geodesy and cartography, problems of theory and methodology on modern cartography. Also, modern problems of land management, high-precision geodetic works, fundamentals of innovative technologies in surveying, organization of scientific exploration and scientific work, geometry of structural and quality indicators, monitoring the state of surface buildings and structures during construction and operation, aerospace environmental monitoring, ecological mapping and digital image processing.
Undergraduates receive knowledge related to basics of web-mapping, major ways and methods of land management and organizing the use of a single land fund, methods of collecting, analyzing, evaluating sources of thematic mapping and mapping due to GIS-technologies and modern cartography automation. They practice practical skills in cartographic and mathematical modeling, conducting aerospace environmental monitoring, developing maps due to digital image processing, monitoring the state of surface buildings and structures during construction and operation, digital aerial photography.

Program graduates can work as senior cartographers, gis-specialists, surveyor, topographer, photogrammetric specialists, surveyors, engineers for monitoring the use and protection of land resources, specialists for land relations department, engineers for land, cadastral engineers, college and higher educational institutions’ teachers etc.
