You will gain knowledge in the field of land relations regulation, land use and protection, land resources assessment, territory arrangement and improvement of natural landscapes. You will study RK regulatory framework for regulating land relations, the issues of land management and cadastral works, the theoretical foundations of the state land cadaster, the regulatory framework for cadastral valuation of land, as well as the specifics of cadastral management in market conditions.

You will gain skills in the scope of land management work and drawing up a balance of personnel, monitoring the use of land and real estate, structuring the land resources system, working in programs to create and update digital cadastral plans and maps. You will learn how to use GIS technologies to solve land cadaster problems, perform processing and analysis of satellite survey data for cadastral and land management tasks.

Students are interning in Department of Land Cadaster and Real Estate of Almaty, companies "Alau Solutions", "RSI Land Relations Management", "SIACAGS", "Tin One Mining", "Getronics", KazGeoCompany, "Topoplan-3D". In addition, students can participate in academic exchange programs and study at Chinese Mining and Technological University, Michigan Technical University (USA), St. Petersburg Mining University, Institute of Problems of Integrated Subsoil Development of RAS (RF) etc.

Graduates work as land surveyors and cadaster specialists in various state and commercial structures, as engineers for monitoring the use and protection of land resources, specialists in land relations departments, manage development projects.
