Program is aimed at training the highly qualified specialists who are able to effectively apply contemporary methods and technologies in the design, construction and operation of transport infrastructure facilities: bridges, tunnels, highways and railways, airfields and other transport facilities.

Students master calculation and design methods, learn how to use modern software systems and digital modeling tools, and participate in scientific research and elaborations. Education is aimed not only at technical training, but also at evolving the analytical thinking and ability to take a systematic approach to solving engineering issues.

During their studies, students learn digital tools for modeling and analyzing the engineering solutions, including BIM technologies basics. Program’s special peculiarity is the emphasis on the practical application of knowledge: students participate in training and production internships on construction sites, in design organizations and laboratories. Within the study process, comprehension of the entire life chain of transport infrastructure facility is formed, from design to operation.

Graduates work with transportation facilities and systems, construction materials and technologies, owing to modeling and management processes, operation and maintenance systems.

Graduates can work as researchers and managers in research institutes, government departments, enterprises, and the private sector. They can also work as teachers in higher and vocational educational institutions of architecture and civil engineering, as well as be qualified directing managers in structural divisions of architecture and urban planning department at various levels.
