Training specialists in the degree program for production in the field of extractive metallurgy and manufacturing the advanced materials, with a special priority for the uranium industry, metallurgy of rare and rare earth metals, as well as powder metallurgy, the production of special innovative materials and powders. Degree program focuses on the training of highly qualified scientific and engineering personnel with advanced knowledge in the theory and practice of processing ore and man-made resources, as well as elaborating innovative materials for modern industry, in accordance with the goals of sustainable development and ESG concept.

You will study experimental and production activities in the field of extractive metallurgy and production of advanced materials; technologies for extracting strategic metals; improving the efficiency of processing rare metal and uranium raw materials, obtaining the advanced materials such as uranium hexafluoride, uranium dioxide powder; production of refractory metals and alloys; 3D technologies and additive manufacturing of metal conversion processes and fluoride technologies in the uranium industry.

You will learn the ways of analyzing, designing and optimizing the processes of obtaining uranium and rare earth metals; you will have knowledge in the field of "Green metallurgy" technologies, digitalization of production processes; apply skills in creating advanced materials; apply fluoride technologies; design and create powdered, self-adapting, nanostructured and biocompatible materials; products of the uranium and rare metal industries. You will be in demand in the global labor market.

Graduates work as technologists, developers and designers at uranium mining and processing companies; at enterprises producing strategic and rare metals; in engineering, research and consulting centers; in national corporations and companies.
