Program is aimed at training PhD doctors who are able to solve key tasks and issues of the integrated development of machine-building production.

Program includes mastering the current methods of quality management and control, the use of information technology, as well as elaboration and implementation of innovative solutions in mechanical engineering. Doctoral students master the methods of developing new standards and ensuring the quality and safety of manufactured products, as well as to increase the competitiveness of machine-building industries.

Program provides in-depth theoretical and practical training in the field of measurements, metrological support, standardization of products and processes, as well as laboratory accreditation. Special attention is paid to the methodology of scientific research, analysis and interpretation of test and measurement results, and quality management at all stages of engineering products life cycle.

Doctoral students master statistical data analysis methods, work with CAD/CAM/CAE systems, and integrate ISO standards and domestic regulations into production processes. Within the program’s research part, they carry out scientific projects aimed at improving the accuracy and reliability of measurements, optimizing production control, and developing new methods for standardization and digital certification of products.

Graduates of the program are in demand in research institutes, machine-building concerns, standardization and certification bodies, metrological control laboratories, as well as in international companies implementing the quality management systems and digital transformation of production.
