The master's program bridges the world of practice and the world of research. Promoting intellectual transactions between students, professors and professionals who contribute to teaching, the master's degree leads the student to consider the project situation as a space for redefining architecture.

The master's degree offers training that gives access to the two-year internship in practice. The internship is governed by the Order of Architects of Quebec (OAQ). It engages the responsibility of the OAQ and is part of the overall training that leads to the profession of architect. “The internship is a period of immersion in an architect's office. In addition to university training, it allows you to deepen your knowledge and become familiar with the various facets of the profession in order to achieve the autonomy necessary to exercise it. (https://www.oaq.com/candidatsetudiants/stage_professionnel.html)

The master's program in architecture consists of 45 credits. This professional program, which follows the pre-professional B.Sc. (Architecture) program, is duly accredited by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board and, under reciprocity agreements with the other provinces of Canada and the free trade agreement with the United States, its graduates have access to the North American market.
