General eligibility conditions

To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Required diplomas and admission thresholds: Quebec

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.3 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular Ph.D. (theology) student, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold an MA (theology) or license in theology, or demonstrate training deemed equivalent
  • have obtained, in the 2nd cycle, a cumulative average of at least 3.3 out of 4.3 or the equivalent
  • demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the French and English languages, as well as any other language, ancient or modern, deemed necessary for the pursuit of your research.
