Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular Ph.D. (nutrition) student, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold a graduate diploma adequately preparing for the studies they wish to undertake, or be eligible for direct access to the Doctorate, or certify training deemed equivalent, including university level courses in anatomy and physiology, biochemistry and microbiology. Candidates who do not have a bachelor's degree in nutrition or nutrition and dietetics and whose undergraduate or graduate training in nutrition is considered insufficient must successfully complete 6 credits of prerequisite undergraduate courses recommended by the graduate studies committee. of the Department of Nutrition during the evaluation of the file before being able to register for graduate courses in nutrition. This candidate could take certain graduate courses in nutrition concurrently, on the recommendation of the graduate studies committee.
