Offering 2 concentrations, this master's program is aimed, on the one hand, at professional education personnel wishing to perfect their knowledge in language acquisition and learning or in teaching through children's literature and, on the other hand, at people teaching languages, the language of instruction and second or foreign languages in Canada and elsewhere in the world.
The multicultural and plurilingual reality of North America is reflected in the composition of the classroom and inevitably evolves practices and thinking about language teaching, the language of instruction as a second or foreign language. This heterogeneity of the class implies developing concerns about inclusion to which the use of children's literature partly allows us to respond.
