Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular Ph.D. (statistics) student, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX of the Educational Regulations) for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold an M. Sc. (statistics), or a 2nd cycle diploma adequately preparing for the studies they wish to undertake, or attest to training deemed equivalent
  • have obtained an average of at least 3.3 out of 4.3 or the equivalent in the 2nd cycle
The candidate must have a good knowledge of French and English. On request, the department may require proof of knowledge of French in the form of successful completion of a French as a foreign language test.
