Are you keenly interested in Asia? Do you show curiosity or a passion for an Asian country, a culture, a language, a religion, a rapidly changing society? Do you want to know more about this essential region in global dynamics?

The bachelor's degree in Asian studies allows you to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Asia and major international currents, while learning an Asian language. The many facets of the region are studied, more particularly its geographical, economic, historical, social, political, philosophical and cultural features.

Students will be able to examine various issues related to Asian regions. By defining orientations according to a spatiotemporal area and thematic overlaps, students will be able to integrate the different elements that determine the evolution of Asia, by establishing enriching interdisciplinary links.

The structure of the program includes a "trunk" of common and fundamental courses and three more specialized orientations.

The courses that the students will choose to take from the first year relate, among other things, to the geography, society, history, politics, economy, philosophy, culture and language of the countries of East Asia. East and Southeast.

Students will choose one of the following three majors:

  • literature, thought and spirituality
  • contemporary political geography
  • history, culture and society

Given the importance of language courses, these occupy an important place in the entire program, ie a minimum of six courses (18 credits) and a maximum of fifteen courses (45 credits).
