To be eligible as a regular student for the MA (classical studies), the candidate must:
meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI of the Educational Regulations) for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
hold a specialized BA or a BA with a major in classical studies, or a diploma adequately preparing for the studies they wish to undertake, or attest to training deemed equivalent, depending on the option chosen
have obtained in the 1st cycle an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 or the equivalent
demonstrate good knowledge of French and English
Ancient History option: have a minimum of 15 credits in ancient Greek (including courses GRC1111, 1121) or in Latin (including courses LAT1111, 1121)
Classical Archeology option: have a minimum of 9 credits in ancient Greek (including courses GRC1111, 1121) or in Latin (including courses LAT1111, 1121)
Languages and literatures option: have a minimum of 24 credits in ancient Greek (including courses GRC1111, 1121, 2011) or in Latin (including courses LAT1111, 1121, 2011).
