Develop basic knowledge on the different levels of organization and functioning of the central nervous system, from the molecule to the cognitive level, from normal to pathological. The program aims to teach you the concepts and methods specific to neuroscience, while providing you with basic training in related disciplines such as audiology and speech therapy, biochemistry, biology, genetics, pharmacology, physiology and psychology.
The program includes the following 5 streams:
- General
- Neurobiology
- Systems and Computational Neuroscience
- Psychopathology and mental health
- Hearing Sciences
It should be noted that the hearing sciences sector allows students who take it to complete all of the prerequisite courses for the professional master's degree in audiology (MPA). Those who would like to continue their studies at the professional master's degree in speech therapy (MPO), however, will have to take additional course credits to complete all the prerequisite credits for this program.
