Teaching preschool or primary school means having a passion for children: understanding their development, knowing how to motivate them, creating a classroom climate conducive to their learning, respecting their differences and taking them into account in your interventions. But it is also, and above all, wanting to help them achieve meaningful learning in several disciplines: French, mathematics, science, the arts, the social universe, ethics and religious culture. The baccalaureate in preschool education and primary education provides you with solid training in the teaching of these different subjects.

Thus, the program prepares you to:

  • Take charge of the entire regular preschool or primary class
  • Develop a reflective and self-assessment practice
  • Use local resources and collaborate with the school team and parents
  • Undertake research into your practice and engage in a continuing education process
