The doctorate in psychoeducation is available in two modalities: the research modality and the research-intervention modality.
The Research modality aims to train high-calibre researchers in two complementary fields of expertise: understanding the development of adjustment problems in children and adolescents from a multidimensional and integrative perspective (developmental psychopathology); and the development, evaluation and dissemination of preventive and curative intervention strategies likely to curb the appearance or aggravation of these problems and to promote the harmonious development of children and adolescents at risk or in difficulty (sciences intervention/dissemination). Its objective is to train specialists who will contribute to scientific research, college or university education,
The Research-Intervention modality aims to train practitioners with a solid scientific background (clinicians-researchers) who, while being able to aspire to an academic career, will also be able to enter the labor market with high-level sought-after skills, particularly with respect to the development, implementation and evaluation of intervention programs.
