To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Required diplomas and admission thresholds: Quebec

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.3 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Degree accepted: Masters, Masters; duration: 2 years

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular Ph.D. student (demography), the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX of the Educational Regulations) for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold a master's degree in demography or equivalent
  • have obtained an average of at least 3.3 out of 4.3 or the equivalent in the 2nd cycle
  • demonstrate good knowledge of French and English
