Admission Requirements

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student and subject to the quality of the file, the candidate must


attest to one of the training courses indicated below:

  • either hold a diploma of college studies (DEC) in nursing (program 180.A0 or 180.B0), college component of the DEC-bac
  • either hold a diploma of college studies (DEC) in nursing (programs 180.01, 180.21 or earlier versions)
  • or for candidates trained outside Quebec, hold a diploma in nursing that the Order of Nurses of Quebec considers equivalent to the DEC in nursing awarded by the Minister of Education of Quebec
And

satisfy the following conditions:

  • except for holders of a diploma of college studies (DEC) in nursing (program 180.A0 or 180.B0), hold a permit to practice from the Order of Nurses of Quebec and be registered with the table of the Order
  • at the request of the Faculty, present a medical certificate
  • at the request of the Faculty, attend an interview
French requirement for admission

To be eligible, you must provide proof of a level of knowledge of French corresponding to that required for this program of study. To this end, you must meet one of the following requirements:

  • have passed the Uniform Test in French, language of instruction and literature, at the college level, from the Ministry of Higher Education of Quebec.
  • have submitted proof of knowledge of French recognized by the University.
  • have obtained at least C1 in oral comprehension and written comprehension in a French test recognized by the University of Montreal during the 24 months preceding the start of the term of study covered by the admission application.
