To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.3 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:
Degree accepted: Masters, Masters; duration: 2 years

To be eligible as a regular student for the Doctorate in Molecular Biology, the candidate must:
- meet the general eligibility conditions (section XXVI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
- hold a master's degree in molecular biology or equivalent
- have obtained, in the 2nd cycle, an average of at least 3.3 out of 4.3 (or the equivalent) or the average required by the original university for admission to a 3rd cycle program, if this is higher.
