The pre-professional Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program focuses on acquiring the basic knowledge and skills of landscape design at multiple scales, including with respect to:

  • analytical tools and methods adapted to urbanized and rural environments,
  • conceptualization and detailed design approaches and methods,
  • the theoretical and technical knowledge relating thereto,
  • the discipline and work orientations specific to the design and management of a project.

The program also provides skills in the use of digital and other tools useful in the design process and the representation of projects.


The baccalaureate is a pre-professional training whose graduates can become certified members of the Association des architectes paysagistes du Québec (AAPQ) under certain conditions.
