In addition to your singing teacher, this program leads you to work with a pianist-repétiteur or pianist-repétiteur (coach). The acquisition of knowledge relating to the voice – technique, diction, styles, repertoire – is supplemented by solid theoretical and auditory training. As a singer, you perform in various public concerts, namely recitals of singing classes, baroque or contemporary music workshops, chamber music ensembles, as well as at the Opera Workshop, which includes a course in stage gestures and movement and presents various public opera productions, including a masterful production with orchestra.

A large proportion of lessons are devoted to vocal performance. Although it is possible to specialize in the Baroque or Classical period, the program promotes the versatility of performers. Furthermore, other objectives are linked to the general training necessary for research-creation: history and theory of music, documentary research, musical languages, writing, analysis, ear training. Finally, the program aims to train singers capable of communicating their art and acting as mediators in professional, multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
