PhD in Psychology - Clinical Psychology option

The doctoral program in clinical psychology (D. Psy) gives access to the Order of Psychologists of Quebec and to the majority of organizations that control the practice of the profession of psychology in North America.
This program is intended for students who are destined for the professional practice of clinical psychology. It aims to train psychologists capable of developing a competent and responsible professional practice of clinical psychology, in its aspects of evaluation, intervention, consultation and supervision, by continuously integrating, within the limits of their expertise, developments the latest in the advancement of knowledge in scientific psychology. The principles of integrating theory and research into practice are fundamental.
