The recent and rapid development of genomics has highlighted the crucial importance of developing new approaches and analytical methods to explore the massive amount of biological data generated. This development has therefore given rise to increasingly close collaboration between specialists in the life sciences and those in computer science. As much to meet the needs of the medical, biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors as those of the academic world, as well as environmental issues, it has become essential to train specialists capable of integrating knowledge from the biosciences and computer science.
Through advanced courses, studies at the master's level aim to deepen knowledge in bioinformatics as well as a specialization in one of its fields. The purpose of the path with research is to learn how to carry out independent research and write a dissertation. The purpose of the course with an internship is to familiarize yourself with the requirements of the labor market, including the writing of a project report.
