Masters in English Studies

The Master's program in English Studies aims to enable students to develop analytical skills, critical judgment and expression.

The program has three objectives:

• introduction to the analysis and criticism of texts,
• the acquisition of knowledge on the main works of literature and cultures in the English language,
• improvement of the English language.

It can also lead to a career in various fields requiring a solid command of the English language and the ability to think coherently and creatively about cultural phenomena.

The program can be followed in two ways:

• The master's degree with thesis or with directed work is a normal prerequisite for doctoral studies.
• The master's degree with internship, training that gives access to various trades in culture, publishing, journalism and teaching at the college level, does not generally lead to a doctorate.
