To apply, students are required to have secondary education certificates. International and Jordian students holding foreign secondary certifications can apply after they obtain the equivalent certificate from The Ministry of Education in Jordan. Admissions requirements:
Any programme: high school certificate, scientific stream.
Humanitarian programmes: high school certificate, literary stream.
Other streams’ certificates can be accepted according to the available programmes. Find out more information on admissions requirements.
Grade requirements:
Faculty of medicine and dentistry: 85%.
Faculty of pharmacy and faculty of engineering: 80%.
Medical analysis and faculty of rehabilitation sciences: 75%.
Faculty of agriculture, faculty of law and faculty of nursing: 70%.
The rest of the faculties require a rate of 65% and above.
The University of Jordan has one campus for its physical science school and then a main campus for its other schools. On campus they have a student transportation service, food services, a student clinic, library and sports complex. UJ has qualified academic staff who all work towards their ambitions to excel. Many of them have held key roles in academic, administrative and political fields in Jordan, some of them are ministers, advisers, deputies and heads of universities, while some have excelled in innovation, scientific research and literature. The campus has a student clinic. The Health Care Department provides services to students such as x-rays, laboratory tests and a pharmacy. Cases that require follow up are transferred to the Hospital of Jordan University.

UJ aims to provide students with fulfilling learning experiences, knowledge-generating research and building firm societal ties within an environment that is attractive and financially stable, and conducive to creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. The university has a variety of options when it comes to extracurricular activities. Students can participate in sport in their free time or join a university team. Students can also volunteer for a community service or simply attend any charity or social events taking place. There are also student clubs, such as art, music and chess clubs. Further, to support student well-being the Health Care Department contributes to spreading health awareness among students and participates in the university's social, sport and health activities. On campus there is one of the largest libraries in Jordan as well as five museums, a sports complex and cultural events throughout term including open dialogues, public lectures, art exhibitions and musical performances. http://graduatedstudies.ju.edu.jo/Admissions/Forms/List_Inter.aspx UJ provides various room options in their four dormitories, however it does not provide single rooms. This leads to some students finding accommodation off-campus, which is a reasonable option as there are many apartments in the area where the university is with student friendly prices. Since its foundation, the number of UJ graduates has exceeded 200,000 around the world, and UJ’s employment reputation is 301-500 worldwide according to QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022. They offer support with their alumni office and 82% of their graduates find a job within six months of graduation.
