The Department of Cultural Resources Management and Conservation was established with the establishment of the Institute of Archeology in 2008/2009. The study began in the academic year 2009/2010 for the Kingdom's need for this important specialization as a large number of archaeological sites dating back to different historical periods are subjected to damage and the threat of natural and human factors. To enroll at the University of Jordan, you need to meet the minimum required GPA for the General Secondary Education Certificate;

1. A copy of the passport.
2. For international students who hold a Jordanian high school certificate (i.e. Tawjehi), you need to provide your Transcript certified from the Jordanian Ministry of Education.
2.1 For International students with a Saudi certificate, you need to get an equivalency from the Ministry of Education in Jordan ( after 2016).
2.2 For international students holding Arabic certificates, you need to have your certificate certified by the Ministry of Education in Jordan.
3.2. For international students holding an international certificate from Jordan (e.g. I.B., SAT, I.G.C.E, etc..), you need to start the equivalency process at the Jordanian Ministry of education (https://apps.moe.gov.jo/apps/certificate/).
4.2.
