Background to the program and subject area:
The clinical Nursing Master’s program is a two years full time program that prepare the graduates to assume the advanced Nurse Specialist Roles in four specializations: critical care, palliative care, maternal and newborn health, and psychiatric mental health nursing. It is composed of Theory and Advanced Practice at the different clinical settings depends on the specialization.
Vision: The School of Nursing Master’s program at The University of Jordan will be increasingly recognized for its excellent and highly competitive advanced clinical nursing program locally, nationally and globally, offering educational opportunities in research, advanced nursing practices and community services and empowering nursing professionals as leaders in the dynamic health care delivery system.
Mission: The mission of the School of Nursing is to promote an innovative, caring, and collaborative learning environment that prepares graduates to demonstrate integrity and assimilate advanced knowledge and clinical experiences to assume advanced roles as clinicians, educators, researchers, and administrators.
Program Aims: The aims of this program is to prepare qualified nurses to contribute to the present and future development of health care services and the nursing profession.

Admission Requirements
1. This plan conforms to the valid regulations of the programs of graduate studies.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Second: Special Conditions:
One-year clinical nursing experience in a health care institution or one-year teaching/training
experience in Maternal-Newborn Health Nursing
Third: Study Plan: Studying (36) Credit Hours
Required Scores of English Language Tests
Please note that applicants who have graduated from an English-speaking country are exempt from the English exam requirement.

Required Documents:
After checking your eligibility for the program, your electronic application at the next step must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file (with a size of less than 6 MB):
1. A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (high school or Tawjihi).
2. A copy of the bachelor's degree certificate is required for master's students. For doctoral students, a copy of the master's degree certificate with a rating of at least 'Good' is required.
3. Transcripts for all academic years of the bachelor's degree for master's students, and transcripts for all academic years of both the bachelor's and master's degree for doctoral students.
4. The grading system used by the student's university (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities).
5. A personal photograph.
6. A copy of the passport.
