The doctoral program of “Animal production” addresses the preparation of qualified specialists equipped with training and expertise in farm animal production, which mainly include nutrition, physiology, reproduction, feed resources, management, genetic improvement and diseases. The Animal Production Department will cover all activities related to teaching and supervision of doctoral students. The research topics should comply with local or international importance for solving problems that face animal production sector.

1. Advanced research oriented towards increasing animal productivity in Jordan
2. Provide graduate students who are able to lead research projects in the field of Animal science at the academic level and in public and private sectors.
3. Provide graduate students who are capable of academic work, including teaching and supervising of graduate students.
4. Provide graduate students who are able to give technical and scientific advice to local and regional institutions in the fields of animal sciences

First Priority: Animal Production
Second Priority: Ruminants Animals
Third Priority: Poultry
Fourth Priority: Agricultural Science
Fifth Priority: Veterinary Medicine

Please note that applicants who have graduated from an English-speaking country are exempt from the English exam requirement.

Required Documents:
After checking your eligibility for the program, your electronic application at the next step must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file (with a size of less than 6 MB):
1. A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (high school or Tawjihi).
2. A copy of the bachelor's degree certificate is required for master's students. For doctoral students, a copy of the master's degree certificate with a rating of at least 'Good' is required.
3. Transcripts for all academic years of the bachelor's degree for master's students, and transcripts for all academic years of both the bachelor's and master's degree for doctoral students.
4. The grading system used by the student's university (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities).
5. A personal photograph.
6. A copy of the passport.
