The Clinical Nursing Master's program is a two-year full-time program that prepares the graduates to assume the advanced Nurse Specialist Roles in four specializations: critical care, palliative care, maternal and newborn health,, and psychiatric mental health nursing. It is composed of Theory and Advanced Practice in different clinical settings depending on the specialization. The program has two tracks thesis and comprehensive for each specialization.


The Master's track in Palliative Care provides comprehensive knowledge and skills of advanced palliative care for patients suffering from life-threatening illnesses. The track focuses on promoting the students' competencies in providing proficient nursing interventionsand management of symptoms that aim to relieve the patients' sufferingthroughout the illness trajectory. This trackprepares graduates to provide high-quality palliative care to patients and their families.​

1. This plan conforms to the valid regulations of the programs of graduate studies.  

2. Specialties of Admission:

- The First Priority: Bachelor's degree in nursing.​


Second:  Special Conditions: One-year clinical nursing experience in a health care institution or   a teaching/training experience of one year in nursing

Third: Study Plan: Studying (36) Credit Hours 

Required Scores of English Language Tests

Please note that applicants who have graduated from an English-speaking country are exempt from the English exam requirement.

Required Documents:

After checking your eligibility for the program, your electronic application at the next step must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file (with a size of less than 6 MB):


1.  A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (high school or Tawjihi).

2.  A copy of the bachelor's degree certificate is required for master's students. For doctoral students, a copy of the master's degree certificate with a rating of at least 'Good' is required.

3.  Transcripts for all academic years of the bachelor's degree for master's students, and transcripts for all academic years of both the bachelor's and master's degree for doctoral students.

4. The grading system used by the student's university (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities).

5. A personal photograph.

6.  A copy of the passport.
