The clinical Nursing Master's program is a two-year full-time program that prepares the graduates to assume the advanced Nurse Specialist Roles in four specializations: critical care, palliative care, maternal and newborn health, and psychiatric mental health nursing. It is composed of Theory and Advanced Practice in different clinical settings depending on the specialization. The program has two tracks thesis and comprehensive for each specialization.
The Master's track in Psychiatric Nursing at the University of Jordan School of Nursing is a vital and central pillar in the Jordanian healthcare system. This program not only responds to the local community's needs and requirements but also aligns with international standards in psychiatric nursing care. The program focuses on providing high-quality psychiatric nursing care, which qualifies it as an effective element in supporting individuals and their families, and in meeting their health and psychological needs effectively and sustainably.
The curriculum, which spans over two years, includes a wide range of specialized courses. These courses cover not only the core subjects in mental health but also extend to subjects that enhance scientific research and statistical skills, ensuring a strong scientific background for the students. In addition to theoretical learning, the program emphasizes specialized supervision and practical experiences in various training sites focused on mental and psychological care. Admission Requirements
1. This plan conforms to the valid regulations of the programs of graduate studies.
2. Specialties of Admission:
- The First Priority: Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Second: Special Conditions: One-year clinical nursing experience in a health care institution or a teaching/training experience of one year in the related specialty.
Third: Study Plan: Studying (36) Credit Hours

Please note that applicants who have graduated from an English-speaking country are exempt from the English exam requirement.

After checking your eligibility for the program, your electronic application at the next step must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file (with a size of less than 6 MB):
1. A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (high school or Tawjihi).
2. A copy of the bachelor's degree certificate is required for master's students. For doctoral students, a copy of the master's degree certificate with a rating of at least 'Good' is required.
3. Transcripts for all academic years of the bachelor's degree for master's students, and transcripts for all academic years of both the bachelor's and master's degree for doctoral students.
4. The grading system used by the student's university (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities).
5. A personal photograph.
6. A copy of the passport.
