Program Aims:

At the successful completion of the M.Sc. program in Web Intelligence, the student should be able to:

1. Identify and analyze web data to solve complex web-related problems

2. Understand modern web technologies and web architecture design

3. Understand web-security vulnerabilities and best practices, and applications in securing web infrastructure

4. Analyze web-related modern topics such as big data and social network analysis, and how to address issues related to large-scale applications

5. Enhance their ability in programming, analytical, critical, problem-solving and transferable skills in web technologies.

6. Develop effective communication skills, and present, publish and defend research results to local and scientific community in written and oral form.

Admission in this program is for IT and Engineering graduates holding a Bachelor’s degree in (ordered as follow):


     1.    Business Information System.


     2.    Business Information Technology.


     3.    Computer Science.


     4.    Computer Information System.


     5.    Computer Engineering.


     6.    Software Engineering.


     7.    Computer Networks.


     8.    Computer Graphics and Animation.


     9.    Any other Information Technology related degrees.



Required Scores of English Language Tests



Please note that applicants who have graduated from an English-speaking country are exempt

from the English exam requirement.

After checking your eligibility for the program, your electronic application at the next step must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file (with a size of less than 6 MB):




1.  A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (high school or Tawjihi).



2.  A copy of the bachelor's degree certificate is required for master's students. For doctoral students, a copy of the master's degree certificate with a rating of at least 'Good' is required.



3.  Transcripts for all academic years of the bachelor's degree for master's students, and transcripts for all academic years of both the bachelor's and master's degree for doctoral students.



4. The grading system used by the student's university (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities).



5. A personal photograph.



6.  A copy of the passport.
